Sinus Lift Clinical Case

Dr. David Baranes (Israel)

A patient in her fifties coming for implant treatment in the left maxilla. Dr. Baranes decided to place an implant, 3.75/10 in tooth #24, with an elevation of the sinus floor crestally using Bond Apatite. In #26 bone width is only 1mm. Dr. Baranes performed a crestal sinus floor elevation using Bond Apatite to first increase the bone height, without placing an implant. Three months post-op, in the second stage, an implant of 3.75/10 was placed. No additional augmentation was performed. 6 mm of bone was gained from first stage. Two stages procedure allows avoiding performing sinus lift by lateral way thanks to the physical and biological properties of Bond Apatite.
